April 19th is Hazelwood Clean Up Day. Teens, if you’re interested, meet us at the gazebo on Second Ave. at 8:30 a.m. (Teens, if you have already signed up, I’ll be calling you bright and early at 8:00 a.m. to wake you up.) If you can’t wake up that early, but still want to participate, look for us on Second Avenue near the library. We will be stationed right on the main part of the street, near the library, Dairy Mart, and Rite Aid. April 22nd is Earth Day, so come help us do something to help it on the 19th. We’re cleaning up the planet! (At least our section of it.) And remember, if feeling good about taking care of your neighborhood isn’t motivating enough, we also have a giant pizza as a lunchtime reward…
Also, since I got some complaints that I only reminded everybody about gaming a little over one million times: Get Your Game On at the Hazelwood Library with the Nintendo Wii on Thursday, May 8th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Be there, or be–somewhere that isn’t as cool, I guess.
