Create Your Own QR Codes

If you have a smart phone chances are you know what a QR code is, and they are popping up everywhere.  What are QR Codes?  QR stands for “Quick Response” and they are one of the coolest apps out there.  You’ll see them on bulletin boards, signs, magazines.  Just take you smart phone download a barcode scanner and use the app to take a picture of the QR code.  This will link your phone to a website.  Usually you’ll be linked to a coupon, or restaurants will use it to put you on a waitlist for a table.  When the table is ready you’ll get a text message.  This eliminates the need to wait inside the restaurant for a table.

Businesses have started using QR codes, now you can too.  i-nigma create has a website that will let you create your own QR code, linking smart phone users to a website, a short message, or contact information.  Try it out!  http://www.i-nigma.com/CreateBarcodes.html

Go ahead, scan the QR code, it will take you to one of my new recipe favorites. (Hint: it includes caramelized peanut butter and bananas.)
