Well, we had a massive turnout of 22 people for Wii gaming yesterday, so keep it coming!
Here’s what else is going on:
September 18th at 4:30 p.m. Beading (make a bracelet, necklace, or a tag for your backpack or purse)
September 25th at 4:30 p.m. Book Discussion (snacks and a discussion of the novel Push by Sapphire)
September 27th at 8:30 a.m. Hazelwood Clean Up Day (if you can get up really early, we have extra computer time and pizza as your reward for helping the community)

Hazelwood ladies (and maybe gents, too, if you’re not too scared), on Thursday, June 26th at 5:00 p.m. we will be making some jewelry. Options will include beading, wire, and construction element (nuts, screws, washers, etc.) jewelry-making. My sister (an art education major and wire jewelry and sculpture expert) will be here helping out. So if you want to make some awesome jewelry (or just heckle Ms. Sara’s baby sister), feel free to come on down!

If you’re looking for something to do, come to Hazelwood this April. On Thursday, April 10 we have the PS2 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. On Saturday, April 19 we will be waking up (UGH!) super early for Hazelwood Clean Up Day. The library has its very own clean up crew featuring 4 members so far–and more are welcome to join! All you have to do is stop by or call the Hazelwood Library to register. The event runs from 8:30-1:00 and we will have Rialto’s giant pizza as a lunchtime reward for participants. This pizza is a whopping 28″ with 49 cuts. Yum! And if the giant pizza isn’t exciting enough for you, we are spending a whole week in celebration of national poetry month. On Tuesday the 22 we will be celebrating Earth Day with poems for our planet. On Thursday the 24 we will be holding an open mike coffeeshop–come and share your poems or read an old favorite. On Saturday the 26 join us to make a group poem.
Hope to see you in Hazelwood!

February 7th we’re making Valentines from 4:00 to 5:00. Rumor has it that candy will be involved…
Also, join us from 5:00 to 7:00 on February 14th for some PS2 gaming. We usually play Dragonball, but we might be open to other suggestions.
