Writing Well (And Doing Something With It)

The first paper I wrote for a new teacher was always a rite of passage for me. First, I would be called to his/her desk, greeted with a look of umbrage, then warned of the consequences associated with plagiarism.

Then I would smile wryly and explain that I am both a writer and a researcher, with a personal bent for style and technical excellence.

And then I would become that teacher’s favorite student.

Reading the recent posts on writing, and with the Ralph Munn Contest deadline coming up on May 21st, I want to share some of my favorite books on writing. Hone your craft, and take your creative writing over the top with these books:
