Toya’s Book Review

The Bully by Paul Langan

Review by Toya, Age 16, CLP – Homewood

This books is about Tyray Hobbs, who’s angry, sad, bitter and determined, and Jamee, who’s protective, concerned and open-minded.  In the book it tells about a freshman’s life — how it had changed from when he first started out high school to the time the year ended.  It tells about everything he went through.  One thing I enjoyed was how Tyray had chanced from the beginning of the book to the end.  Another thing I enjoyed about the book is the way it kept me engaged.

**The above review was written by Toya as part of the Teen Fine Alternative Program.  If you’re interested in working off fines owed on CLP materials and are between the ages of 12-18, please contact your local CLP location.**
