Fantastically Freaky Halloween Resources

Autumn is my absolute favorite time of year.  I love that the colder weather brings sweaters, scarves, heavy socks, and the fall harvest gives us apples, pumpkins, and squash.  Oh, and Halloween brings out the utter theatrical side of me with crazy costumes, props, and wigs.  Over the last several years of hosting Halloween parties I’ve developed quite the collection, and have decided to lug it all into the library for Homewood Library’s Teen Halloween Party this year, along with my camera and it’s huge memory card to capture the hilarity that is sure to ensue.

Most of all I love to be scared.  Watching a horror movie or reading a book of scary stories, all huddled up on the couch, not letting a toe slip out from under the covers, working myself up into a frenzy so that I have to turn all the lights on in my apartment. Here’s some of my favorite nail biters that will be sure to keep you up at night, help you get physically and mentally ready for a fabulously freaky celebration.
