Taking Pictures

I just purchased a new digital camera two weeks ago, and I am having fun learning how to use it.  I tend to take mostly scenic photographs, which really bugs my friends when I share my pictures of our vacations.  There are pictures of the hotel, the beach, sail boats and shrimp boats, birds, sunsets and sunrises.  Where are the people?  “Where are the pictures of us?” they ask.

Even when I am at an event like a concert, I tend to take more pictures of the scene.  I am more likely to take a photo of the crowd than of an individual.  What kind of photographer are you?  Are you more of a landscape photographer or more of a portrait photographer?
