Advanced Pumpkin Carving

We’re getting down to the wire on Halloween preparation this year, so take a moment and check to make sure that you’ve got your pumpkin ready to be jack o’ lantern’d.  But wait, you don’t want to do just your average triangle face and pointy-teeth grin, do you?

Check out these awesome websites for scary and original patterns to use to carve your own pumpkin.  You can take your pattern from these sources, or just scroll through and look for inspiration!

Extremepumpkins.com – This site seems to be run by one guy who is an intense pumpkin carving enthusiast.  He has step-by-step how to’s on a ton of subjects such as free patterns, pyrotechnics, and preservation.

Zombiepumpkins.com – There seems to be a lot of interesting content on this site.  But user beware, to gain access to their patterns you’ll need to pay a yearly fee.

Pumpkingutter.com– For really advanced carvers, this site offers a huge gallery of some super sweet pumpkins.  Additionally, for newbies, the site also has a comprehensive introduction to carving guide.
