So you want to make movies?

Have you ever dreamed of making a movie, being a Hollywood big shot or even winning an Oscar?  Well if you have, the Carnegie Library can help you on your way!  The LABS is working with Pittsburgh Filmmakers Youth Media Program to present Make a Movie workshops at 4 CLP locations.  Allegheny, South Side, East Liberty and Main will each host workshops starting this week.

Working with Super 8 film cameras, you’ll learn to shoot and digitally edit black-and-white film to achieve the exceptional look of celluloid. Proper use of the light meter, controlling exposure, frame rates and editing software will be covered in this unique workshop.

Registration is required so sign up today!!  You can register by calling 412.622.3140 or by clicking on one of the locations above and filling out the registration section.  Just don’t forget to thank us in your acceptance speech!!
