Make Toys!

I am a longtime fan of the quirkiest of quirky toys. As a child, I sewed my own felt fishes–which then took up residence in the My Little Pony Paradise Estates and Barbie’s mansion, evicting their more traditional girlie toy denizens.

Much to my delight, I found these great books via the library, and I hope that it is much to your crafting delight that you discover them, too:

Plushies (super cute and quirky toys often made from fleece)

Amigurumi (Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, quirky creatures)
