Fun Things to do this Fall: CLPTeensburgh Edition

Fall is my favorite season.  The Leaves.  Football.  Pumpkins.  Haunted Houses.  Apple Cider.  Bon Fires.  Halloween.  Did I mention Football?  Scary Movies.

Take a walk in the woods.  Pittsburgh has a lot of great parks that have walking and hiking trails.  Allegheny County also has parks with walking and hiking trails. My favorite time to hike is in the Fall.  It is not too hot, and it is not too cold. Walking in the woods is safer in the fall;  wearing long sleeves and long pants provides more protection against ticks.  When you go for a walk or a hike, don’t forget to bring a camera or cell-phone camera  to take pictures.  Please share your photographs with CLPTeensburgh. For National Trails:  please see:  http://www.trails.com/trails.aspx.

Haunted Houses!   I love visiting Haunted Houses this time of the year.  Please share your favorite Haunted House or Hay Ride pictures with CLPTeensburgh!

What place has the best Haunted House or Halloween Party?  What is the best Halloween costume that you have seen this year?

Check out all of the upcoming Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Teen Events Here.
